The Mental Health Network Greater Glasgow is a group of people and carers with lived experience of mental health issues. We work to improve the rights, services and treatment of people with mental health issues and to challenge the stigma and discrimination they face. We encourage and support people to meet and share their views and experiences at our regular peer support groups. Through our weekly Walking Group (we have Glasgow Green on our doorstep), we hope this safe, low level activity will enhance mental health and wellbeing, reduce social isolation and loneliness, offer the opportunity to be out in nature and to be therapeutic in its approach.
