Guide to Construction, Design and Management Regulations for Path Projects

This is a simple guide for path groups and organisations to keep path work safe and meet legal requirements.

If you’re planning path maintenance work, there are important safety and legal rules you need to follow. These are called the Construction, Design and Management Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015). This guide explains these rules in 10 simple steps. It will help you to carry out safe, compliant path projects whilst protecting workers and the public.
