Head of Walking Delivery
I manage our direct walking delivery. I have oversight of our Walking Schools, Communities, Environments and Network programmes. I believe that walking and wheeling are for everyone, everywhere, every day. And through our delivery programmes I work to encourage and support this becoming a reality.
I have worked in the environmental charity sector for over 10 years, mainly focusing on active and sustainable travel. I believe passionately that to help tackle the climate-nature emergency, we need to change the way we travel as a society and we need to make the change now.
Graham joined Walking Scotland in July 2018.
Graham shares why people should walk more:
“People should walk and wheel more as they are an integral part of life and what it means to be alive. Walking is key to keeping healthy both physically and mentally. It is central to connecting with and understanding our communities and surroundings.”
