Joshua describes himself first as human. He’s also a Corporate Actions Analyst with an Asset Manager in Edinburgh and a multi-award-winning outdoor enthusiast and the co-founder of Black Scottish Adventurers, a community interest company.
Black Scottish Adventurers aims to introduce more ethnic minorities to the outdoors in Scotland, with the aim to benefit both their physical and mental wellbeing while educating them about how their daily activities impact their environment and the climate.
He’s a Director at Black Professionals UK, a fast-growing organisation which supports Black professionals, students, and corporate partners alike.Joshua is passionate about environmental sustainability and access rights in Scotland.
He has inspired millions and supported thousands in connecting with wild spaces through his media platforms.
Joshua joined our Board in November 2024.
Joshua shared how he adds walking into his day:
“Walking doesn’t have to be a big day on the hill. I incorporates walking into my daily life, from taking my kids to School, going for short walks around my local green spaces to walking further afield in the Highlands. Walking has improved my physical and mental wellbeing.”
