Walking isn’t only good for our physical, social and mental health. It’s also good for our communities, the environment and the economy.
We support and inspire people in Scotland to walk and wheel more.
Walk. Connect. Change your world.
The top destination for walking tips, tools and inspiration.
The meeting point for this series of walks is at Stirling Old Bridge. The walk is short, less than 2 miles and will be a maximum walking time of 1 hour. The pace of this walk is aimed at beginners. This walk is one of 4 fortnightly walks at this meeting point. We will aim to take a different direction for each walk. Most of the walks will be on paved paths, with some stretches along narrower, grassy paths. The walks will be predominantly flat with crossing the cobbled old bridge anticipated to be the most challenging part. Nature ID guides will be provided for those who are interested and routes will explore local greenspaces in one of the following areas: Raploch, Riverside or Cornton. An optional FREE lunch will be provided for participants at the end of the session (1pm – 2pm) along with seats so that you can sit and enjoy some company. Please book onto the walk via our website so we can cater accordingly.
