Active Stirling Walking Network

Project information

Active Stirling runs the Stirling Walking Network across the Stirling Council area providing a wide range of local walks led by qualified volunteers. The Walking Network and Buggy Walks are managed by Active Stirling, a local charity committed to improving people’s lives through getting more people, more active, more often. With the help of a large network of fantastic volunteers, the Walking Network runs a range of low-level, friendly walks from buggy walks to health walks including Dementia friendly walks. The free walks last around 45 minutes and are a great way to make new friends, keep active, get outdoors, enjoy a chat and a cup of tea afterwards. For those keen to walk a little further the Walking Network offers a variety of longer Community Walks across Stirling, a great way to explore and make the most of the beautiful scenery with others. If you’d like to meet new people in your area, or get more active, then please do come along, we’re always looking for new people to join our walks. If you enjoy walking and would like to help with our walking programme as a volunteer then we’d also love to hear from you.
