The first ever International Walking Day will take place on Monday 27 April 2026. We’ll be joining other countries, communities, organisations and individuals around the world to celebrate walking.

The goal is to encourage people to walk more in their daily lives when they can. Walking is the healthiest, most accessible and most sustainable ways to get around. It helps improve our health, happiness and local environment, and it can be done anytime.
