The meeting place varies so, please contact us for details or to discuss particular needs. Walks will alternate between Tarbert Scott Road & Macqueen Street, Tarbert Marina and Old Pier Road.
Tarbert Scott Road & Macqueen Street – meeting at the main car park beside the bus stop in Tarbert. This walk is 1.5km. Starting at the main car park through the 2 main streets in Tarbert. Some slight uphills and downhills but mostly flat walking. Tarbert Marina – meeting at Tarbert Community Centre and continue towards the ferry terminal, around the Harris Distillery and return to the community centre via the marina. Old Pier Road is one of our shorter walks at 0.75km. We will meet at the car park opposite North Harris Medical Centre and from there, walk down Old Pier Road along the shore of West Loch Tarbert, and return to the car park. Laxadale Lochs Loop – Meeting at Laxdale Lochs car park, we will walk around Laxdale loch and will take approximately 1 hour. This route has a good footpath with some slight uphill sections.
