Walking isn’t only good for our physical, social and mental health. It’s also good for our communities, the environment and the economy.
We support and inspire people in Scotland to walk and wheel more.
Walk. Connect. Change your world.
The top destination for walking tips, tools and inspiration.
Deveron Walking Group offers a weekly health walk on a Friday afternoon, setting off at 2pm from either Banff Quayside car park or Macduff Aquarium Car Park (the start venue of the walks alternates monthly between Banff and Macduff). Deveron Walking Group is part of the Scottish Health Walk Network. Our walks, led by trained walk leaders, are low intensity and friendly. We use different routes in and around Banff and Macduff, usually decided on the day by those coming along. Walks typically last up to one hour and are followed by a fly cup at a local cafe. We are always looking for new members to join our accessible, social walks. Please contact the group leader to check the starting point. With the support of a trained volunteer, we are a Macmillan Friendly accredited project, so are able to welcome those who are affected by cancer to join our walks. https://www.facebook.com/groups/903577729787676
