Walking isn’t only good for our physical, social and mental health. It’s also good for our communities, the environment and the economy.
We support and inspire people in Scotland to walk and wheel more.
Walk. Connect. Change your world.
The top destination for walking tips, tools and inspiration.
Aimed at those who are not currently active or living with long term conditions or mobility issues that mean they require a supportive, slow paced walk. We will meet at Greenock Esplanade and then do a short 20-30 minute walk outdoors. After the walk we will return to Gateway for coffee. We also do some indoor Strength & Balance exercises after the walk and on wet days we do indoor activities (Boccia, Body Boosting Bingo, Strength & Balance exercises). New walkers can be referred to this walk via ICIL Physio team, other community physio or OT’s or through self referral following discussion with our Health Walk Coordinator Jenni Murray.
