Walking isn’t only good for our physical, social and mental health. It’s also good for our communities, the environment and the economy.
We support and inspire people in Scotland to walk and wheel more.
Walk. Connect. Change your world.
The top destination for walking tips, tools and inspiration.
Meeting point: travel towards UHI and turn right at the first roundabout then park in the car park on the right (with ‘Reception’ building) – we will meet you there for the start of the walk. The walk will start at 10:00am each Wednesday. The walk takes you around the grounds of the Campus where we can see wildlife (rabbits and deer), observe flights heading to/from Dalcross and observe several bird species in the pond e.g. swans (and cygnets), ducks, and dippers. The area is also well used by dog walkers which catch the eye of the children in their buggies. Toddlers are welcome to join our walks. We also stop for a story and rhymes during our walk.
