Weekly Health Walk for CARERS ONLY. Drop in! Turn up on the day! No need to register! Please join us every Tuesday on the Health Walk for Carers. A weekly walk on a Tuesday morning at the Glencorse Centre, Penicuik. We meet at 10.30am and finish at 12noon. Great for getting out of the house for a couple of hours for fresh air and to meet with others. There is always time for a cup of tea/coffee and a chat afterwards. Are you an unpaid carer? Do you look after someone close to you? Do you spend some of your time caring for someone – a partner, child, family member, friend or neighbour- who relies on your help? Is that person living with frailty, a long-term condition or disability, a physical or mental health condition, additional needs or drug/alcohol dependency? If yes – you are definitely an unpaid carer. Please wear good footwear and dress for the weather. Unfortunately, this walk is not suitable for dogs (unless under certain circumstances and pre-arranged). Looking forward to seeing you there!
