Please join us for our Longer Health Walk on Saturday 4th October 2025 at 10:00. New walkers are very welcome and no booking is necessary – just turn up on the day. We will be meeting up in the car park at Dufftown Station and transporting onward to Craigellachie, where our walk will commence. The walk will take no more than two hours and will follow the disused railway line alongside the River Fiddich. If you wish to grab some lunch after, or just a fly cup at the Sidings Cafe Dufftown, be sure to book a table in advance, as it can be very busy on a Saturday. Tell them you are with the ‘walkers’ and we should be able to sit together. Drivers of cars left at Craigellachie car park will be driven back from Dufftown. The walk is a gradual incline over the 7Km (4.3m) route but can be muddy. Be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes/boots and prepare for all weather conditions. Please take some water with you and a snack as we will be stopping half-way to ‘refuel’. This may be your best chance to see the full gamut of Moray’s autumn colours.
