Project information

Abbey Amblers is part of Arbroath Abbey Action, a local community group offering an open and inclusive adult weekly walk from Arbroath Harbour, taking in Arbroath Abbey, with a variety of routes around the town of Arbroath. We aim to promote Arbroath Abbey as an historically significant site to both locals and tourists visiting the town, incorporated into our Health Walk. Our friendly, welcoming walk takes place weekly on Wednesday afternoon leaving from the outer harbour area beside the Black Sheds at 1.30pm. The walk will end with a return to the harbour area where toilet facilities and a cuppie, biscuits and social chat is available within Andreou’s Bistro at 57 High Street at no charge.
