Walking isn’t only good for our physical, social and mental health. It’s also good for our communities, the environment and the economy.
We support and inspire people in Scotland to walk and wheel more.
Walk. Connect. Change your world.
The top destination for walking tips, tools and inspiration.
The Meander project connects Hospitalfield to local landscapes through gentle walking. Led by Hospitalfield’s volunteer walk leaders, the project promotes wellbeing through walking and cultivates a place where people can enjoy being active at their own pace. Perfect for people from all backgrounds and abilities looking to enjoy a peaceful moment outdoors while undertaking low impact exercise. Meander is one project at Hospitalfield in Arborath. Hospitalfield is dedicated to contemporary art and ideas. A place to work, study, learn, visit and enjoy, Hospitalfield is an artist house built by Patrick and Elizabeth Allan-Fraser in the 18th Century. Now the house plays host to artists, exhibitions, events, volunteering and walks. Hospitalfield hosts a year-round programme of activity, including heritage tours, exhibitions and events, and volunteering opportunities.
