Walking isn’t only good for our physical, social and mental health. It’s also good for our communities, the environment and the economy.
We support and inspire people in Scotland to walk and wheel more.
Walk. Connect. Change your world.
The top destination for walking tips, tools and inspiration.
Walk ON combines walking and reading to allow you to take part in a short health walk, and then relax with your fellow walkers over a cup of tea and a chat about books. Enjoy all the benefits of joining in with fellow walkers on a regular walk and then combine this with an informal session where our reading group facilitator will introduce you to a selection of different titles at each session. Sit back, relax and enjoy being read to, discover or rediscover the joys of reading and join in the discussions over a cuppa. You don’t need to read any books in advance and we welcome everyone regardless of reading ability. Walk ON is absolutely free! Walk ON sessions take place at Cowdenbeath Library, Cupar Library, Leven Library, Dalgety Bay Library, Rothes Halls Library, Kirkcaldy Galleries.
