Walking isn’t only good for our physical, social and mental health. It’s also good for our communities, the environment and the economy.
We support and inspire people in Scotland to walk and wheel more.
Walk. Connect. Change your world.
The top destination for walking tips, tools and inspiration.
The Walk Moray project delivers health walks across Moray every week and is managed by Health and Social Care Moray. With the help of our network of fantastic volunteers, Walk Moray runs a variety of low-level, fun, social, accessible and friendly health walks. Whether you would like to meet new people in your area, or get more active, we are always looking for new people to join/lead our walks. The benefits of walking including physical, social and mental are amazing and so worthwhile! The project also supports several health walks which are run by other organisations. All of the current walks are listed below and you can click on each for further information. Some of our walk leaders have attended additional training including Disability Inclusion, Strength and Balance and Dementia Friendly Walking. Walk Moray was awarded with Paths for All’s Dementia Friendly Walk accreditation in September 2021 meaning anyone living with dementia, and their carers can remain connected to their community. Our current dementia friendly walk is in Fochabers. Any questions or queries, do not hesitate to contact the Walk Moray Health Walk Coordinator – Morgan McKay
