Walking isn’t only good for our physical, social and mental health. It’s also good for our communities, the environment and the economy.
We support and inspire people in Scotland to walk and wheel more.
Walk. Connect. Change your world.
The top destination for walking tips, tools and inspiration.
Step Forth have walks all over the Falkirk area, from Larbert to Bo’ness, the Braes to Carronshore and the Helix. Step Forth is Falkirk council walking for health project. Our aim is to encourage people of all ages and abilities to become more active, physically, mentally and socially. All our walks are run by our fantastic team of volunteers. We have health walks, which are under an hour and usually flat. Buggy walks for new parents. Slightly longer walks and Nordic walking groups. Most of our walks are wheelchair friendly but please contact the coordinator if you need more information. Step Forth aims to encourage everyone in the area to become more active. We also have two British Nordic Walking Instructors and run classes twice a year, that feed in to our busy, free, Nordic walking groups.
